Street Vs. Medical Cannabis

There are more than 46 states with some kind of marijuana legalized, either via cannabis or for recreational purchases. This offers people a chance to get weed for their conditions. However, priority to this, many people didn’t get the totally legit medical cannabis from a dispensary, and they usually had to get the “street” kind from sellers underground. The big difference is that it can have some costs, quality, and some protections, especially when you look at it compared to street weed.

What Medical Marijuana Works

This is specific products that are formulated, cultivated, and then distributed within a cannabis program that’s legalized. About 46 different states have some kid of this, but the regulations do vary.

It works similar to what cannabis does in general. It interacts directly with the ECS, and then, it influences the processes which are involved, in order to ensure and maintain homeostasis, and the interplay is great for conditions that are underlying and qualifying.

The uses for this include the following:

  • Inflammation

  • Pain

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Cancer

  • Wasting syndrome

  • Glaucoma

  • Insomnia

  • Nausea

  • Seizures

  • PTSD

There are a lot of benefits that come with this, as it can offer the correct cannabinoids and terpenes with this. If you get it within a state that’s legalized, it can be good, as it’s high0-quality stuff that’s easy and safe for consumption.

The main downside is that there are taxes and limits to purchasing this.  It can be a bit inconvenient for those who are trying to manage conditions which are severe with weed. Some of them also have requirements that are also different too, so not all weed is equal.

Street Weed

Street marijuana, or street weed, is usually from people who grow this on the black market.

It’s usually in states where the cannabis isn’t allowed to be used, even illegally.  California and Colorado though, do have street weed too, as they have high  taxes and limit the amounts.

How this works is simple. it basically works the same way that medical cannabis does, and it operates your endocannabinoid system, and it works with various physiological and physical processes. However, it’s not used the same way medical cannabis is, and since it’s not held to the exact standards, it may contain heavy metals, pesticides, and the like, and usually the cannabinoids are much lesser than legalized cannabis. It also may contain stuff that’s not normally kosher in weed.

The uses for this vary, but it’s something that can help with a variety of issues, similar to regular medical cannabis. Anorexia, chronic pain, MS, cancer, seizures, and the like can benefit from the usage of street marijuana.

The benefits of this are good for people who are not able to afford the prices of marijuana.  There are a lot of growers out there who don’t have high taxes added to the cannabis that they sell.

You can also get a lot of terpenes and cannabinoids with conditions that are clean. You also can get medical marijuana without needing a state program. It’s also a lot cheaper than medical cannabis in a lot of places.

The biggest downside, s that even though it is usually pretty fresh, the contents within are very hit or miss, and it’s not totally tested like regular medical cannabis.  You also can possibly be arrested for those who find this, and it can put you at risk. But if you wnat to save money on weed, then this is something to consider possibly getting and purchasing for you to use.
