Smoking Weed and Drinking coffee

Having coffee every single morning is a staple of many, as it can give you some energy. In a way, some treat it like rolling a good joint, where they get the scent, and it’s why some people use this. Some wonder if the mixture of this is good for them.  Here is what we know about both of these, and if it can impact the way that we feel.

How Caffeine and THC impact Us 

The combination of both is something that’s been enjoyed since the 1970s.  That was when Mellow Yellow, one of the first coffee shops, opened up back in Amsterdam.  Since this point, people have combined these two together, and there are even names that are creative for this, including Hippie speedball.

This offers both stimulating, and relaxing feelings, and there are different benefits to your health. You might wonder how this interacts with both the mind and the body, and also how they can benefit you. 


Caffeine along with THC are both considered psychotropic in terms of effects on this. Psychotropic means that it does impact the mood, behaviors, and the thoughts along with your state of mind. It does work in the same way that nicotine, alcohol, and even prescriptions may impact you.

Those that are psychotropic also may have some benefits including depression, anxiety treatments, schizophrenia, and also sleep problems and disorders.

While THC and caffeine do have some great health benefits, some people may have bad reactions.  Caffeine can stimulate the body, helping with treating migraines and headaches, lowering diabetes risks, improving your athletic performance, along with endurance, and also to reduce instances of depression. THC is good for euphoria, relaxation, and feeling calm. 

Is it good or Bad To Mix? 

This is something that some people may want to mix, but the thing is, it may cause adverse effects. This is due to the fact that THC along with coffee boosts the dopamine within the system, improving the feelings that you have of happiness that are there and the euphoria that are also there as well. 

It also can be used to help with improving your body, but it can also cause you to feel anxious, paranoid, and agitated too.



Combining both of these also does impact the blood pressure, elevating it ever so slightly, but for those with high blood pressure, this is not recommended. 

There are rare instances where you should not mix this. This includes people who suffer from arrhythmia, and also other heart conditions. If you’re someone who is new to putting these together, it’s vital to talk to the doctor, so that you can ensure that it’s safe for you to do so. Those with a history of blood pressure issues definitely will want to stay away from this.

You should also be mindful, slowly increasing the dosage with time, and improving this too.

There are benefits to mixing this though. You can improve your energy, your alertness, and also improve the happiness, relaxation, and even the feelings of euphoria that you have.



There are some good benefits that come with this, and that's also worth mentioning too, as there are people who are still green to this, that get the benefits of this.

In general, it’s good for some people to enjoy, but keep in mind when you do mix these, that they can cause bad side effects. Exercise caution, and er on the side of being safe with this, and you might be able to use both as a means to help you perk up, feel good, and help you improve your life as well.
